Tim, I still live in the hope of finding a sick bag that is not already in your extensive collection!
I hope that retirement does not prove to be too boring - a bit different from living your life out of a suitcase.
I'm sure I will see you some day in some far flung part of the globe - if not in Colchester!!
Best wishes for the future - you will be greatly missed.
Simon Passfield-Taylor.

Tim, I know you've been in the bank a longish time, and I'm sometimes accused of being verbose, but I really find myself struggling to try and fill two sides of A4 to say my farewells!! Perhaps I'm required to write two lines for each year of service?
Anyway, I'll keep it short and sweet - in an era of mundane, staccato communications, your nice, long and usually amusing missives from around the world were a breath of fresh air, even though I didn't always agree with the contents!
Tim, have a really great retirement, as far as I'm concerned there most certainly is "life after LTSB", "chill out", enjoy those trips to Sicily, without having to count the days before "going back to work".
Warm regards
Nigel Freeman
