Tim -
So you are finally giving up those 16 hour days (or was it longer?); the tens of thousands of air miles (but I guess you have a bag full); and the opportunities to add further to your bulging collection of air sick bags.
I have many happy memories of the times we worked together and argued about the length of some of your letters ("I didn't have time to write a short note so I wrote a long one instead!")
I also remember a great day with Francisco Martorella at a gaucho rodeo near Buenos Aires. I forget now why you did not try the bareback riding!
Have a long, happy and healthy retirement. I can assure you there is life and fun after Lloyds.
Warm regards,
Mike Gadsden

Tim, it's difficult to envisage you in retirement, but I hope all goes well (in fact, I'm sure it will). No doubt you will continue to travel to far-flung corners of the globe and continue to find yourself challenging the 100 kilo mark (which I think you first breached when we were in Dubai in February 1999). Anyway, best wishes for the future.

Tim,
I'm sure you'll have a long, pleasant and well-deserved retirement. Group Audit will find it difficult to replace your many talents. Thanks so much for the times that you have helped me with Spanish translations and the invaluable advice on certain Latin American destinations.
All the best,
Adrian Powell

Tim,
I regret too not having worked with you, especially when I'm overseas and local staff make reference to you (very kindly, I might add!). I hope all goes well with your retirement - if that's what you do instead of applying your audit skills elsewhere. All the best.

Tim,
For once I really don't know what to say! It's been a pleasure working with you (particularly in Dubai!) and I wish you all the very best for your retirement. When I want to know where you are, I won't be able to check the whereabouts list in future - will I!

Tim,
After your rather splendid farewell "do", I had a play on your website. Man, you have arrived when you have your own tribute website! (Didn't know you were a Cambridge man - but from where else could your eccentricities arise?).
Anyway Tim, just to wish you and Anna well in retirement, and hope we manage to stay in touch.
Best wishes in every way,
Chris

Tim,
There are few of the "old" stalwarts left now, which is regrettable. Gosh, how these retirements make you realise how time flies past!
Thanks for all your help over the years, which has been very much appreciated.
Wishing you all the best for a long, happy and healthy retirement.

Tim,
It has been a great pleasure knowing you, albeit only since 1997. I have always enjoyed our little chats on all the various issues over time.
You will be missed by us all, as wherever I go you're always described to me as "a charmster".
I sincerely wish you all the best in your retirement and I hope it's a long and happy one. I have no doubt you'll re-surface sometime somewhere.
Meanwhile, take care, remember just enjoy yourself, keep smiling and please do keep in touch.
All the best,
Jehangir
