Tim, Anna, David and Eduardo went to visit Vassouras city in May/2000, that means 'brooms' in English. Marcos was the our driver.
This city is located in the highland area of the Rio de Janeiro state and it was very used by the Portuguese former-emperor as well as Brazilian oligarchy in the nineteenth century.
The main picture is taken outside the disused railway station. The visit included several tourist points of this nice city, and later we went to a local rodízio-type restaurant (smaller picture).
